Retired Navy Reserve SWO Commander (27 years). I have no money because my wife (deceased) and I rescued animals. Cats (OMG so many cats). 🚫DM
I don't usually post about my personal life, but tonight I am. I'm having a really hard time with the approaching holidays. Second ones since I lost my wife. The first ones I must have still been numb, but now I'm struggling.
@AmiEverAfter
I was maybe 8 (1966) and my grandmother gave me a hideous orange and brown horizontal striped shirt. She saw my disappointment and I regret that to this day.

I told my wife I loved her every day we were together (the Navy kept us apart many days). I lost her on 31 July after 39 years. I still start and end every day telling her.
@RexChapman
Immediately take it to an exotic animal veterinarian. Not going to guess how it got in that condition, but clearly needs medical attention. After hugging this poor baby and telling them it will be OK.
Today we wear our diapers in solidarity with President Trump until the DOJ treats us like big boys.

to show your love for America’s daddy.

First official fight of my marriage was who was responsible for taking the ball point pens out of my uniform shirt pockets on my dress khakis.

Widower here. Lost my wife 8 months ago to endometrial cancer after 39 years. I've never taken mine off and neither did my wife until her arthritis made her fingers swell. Had to cut it off. We never got around to enlarging it.
@LawyersAnd
Looks more like they're doing a silly challenge to drink wine whilst sitting on a vibrating unit. I don't see any corresponding text to imply they're trying to claim COVID vaccine injury.
@igorsushko
I was in San Diego as an Ensign when the first Soviet warships we're allowed a port call. They left tours of their ships. Everything was painted over with multiple coats of paint, radio masts, torpedo launchers, missile launchers, you name it. 1/2

I'm at about 100 (yes literally). My wife and I have cared for over 100 animals and grieved at the loss of each. My wife died last July 31 and I thought I would die, but I didn't. Then I lost our little dog 6 months later. Again, I thought I would die... I wanted to die. 1/2

The signal for danger is 5 (or more) short blast.. no prolonged blast. A prolonged blast means either "I am operating astern propulsion" or a restricted visibility signal or change of station (getting underway from a pier or anchorage).
@its_jessi_grace
I'm going to do this for myself. I lost my wife 6 months ago. I still tell her "Good night, sweetheart. I love" every night before I go to sleep.
@RCdeWinter
I'm ashamed to admit that every time my wife and I went to the store and got separated, I could not for the life of me remember what she was wearing.

I saw this somewhere, but can't remember where (apologies to op whomever you are):
Religion is like a penis.
It's fine if you have one.
It's fine if you're proud of it.
Just stop waving it around in public.
After nearly 2 years, I'm finally trying to face clearing out my wife's things. Clothes, shoes, jewelry...her hair brush and makeup are still on the bathroom sink counter.
How do I do it? 😿
@LorraineLozza75
We all must do what helps us get through this. I still tell my wife "Good night sweetheart, I love you!" every night. It's been 2 years.

I just lost my wife of 39 years 2 days before her 68th birthday. I spent every second I could with her. I slept in a chair at the hospital for two weeks and then held her hand all night long during the 2 weeks she was home on hospice. I was so privileged to be her husband.
@RCdeWinter
My wife saved my "bacon" on a regular basis. It was the little gasps and clutching of the door handle that always freaked me out. Never knew if I was about to run over a child or simply pass a little close to another car. 🫨

Greg must have been a late bloomer if he was in kindergarten in 1976 when the bus was hijacked. He would have been 8 since he was born in '68. Most start at 5 or 6. And they were buried in a trailer, not the bus.
