That isn't the issue. Having raised the question, "what is going to happen next?," it proceeds to do nothing interesting. Kylo is still bad at the end of TLJ. Rey is still good. There was no point to this happening. You can't just subvert expectations and call it telling a story.

There are actually fair criticisms of TKAM. Read Sorkin's pov when he was adapting it into the stage play. It preaches incrementalism and "oh, the racists are just folks too". I was always confused growing up why Atticus' both-sidesing was viewed as a strength.

I've always said and will say again that this is a bad comparison because you and I both know that income is not wealth. That at every income level black wealth is far lower. Controlling for wealth would at least be a start.

It doesn't sit right with me that people publicly share every negative interaction they have, and with TikTok the problem is getting worse, but in terms of the meeting itself, Brittany Pietsch seems to have been entirely in the right.
Getting fired is tough, but it’s important to handle it with dignity. Firing someone is also hard, requiring compassion and respect. Total disaster on both sides here.
