I never travel via public transport with my mum but I think she'd be extremely disappointed in me if I didn't offer my seat to anybody else who wanted it. I don't know how you can sit there and not give it up.

The decline in good manners across the west is really alarming. I always offer my seat when a train is full, not because I'm a good person but because I grew up being taught it's just what men have to do. But I realised this year that 80% of other men do not.

No confessions because it's a holy day of obligation. Seriously? What's the point in even having a priest if they're going to make any excuse to not do their job. It's a holy day of obligation which is precisely why confessions SHOULD be heard.
I don't know why I even bother but Glasgow Cathedral is so mismanaged. 25 minutes per day for confession and 20+ people show up to be served by one priest, leaving 10+ to be told to jog on. The archbishop was present as confessions started too.

I have never met anybody — Unionist or Nationalist, SNP or whatever — who has had a bad experience with Kate Forbes personally. By all accounts, she is a warm and genuine person. It is no wonder then that the Green Party-aligned section of society hate her.
