Oh, he had weird political views alright, just kept them very hidden. He was a State's Rights Libertarian from a Sundown town, he would've been awful on the national stage.
His hometown had a sign with the N-word on it as late as the 80s, well after his museum was built 💀
In hindsight we’re very lucky Neil Armstrong didn’t have strongly outspoken and weird political views. We could have had a second Charles Lindbergh situation.
DON LEMON: "Are you gonna vote for him [Joe Biden]?"
JEFF JACKSON: "Yep!"
Bold move to double down on Biden when North Carolina is craving better leadership...

And then you'll see transphobic, homophobic, or racist posts, but every single comment (minus the ones downvoted to hell) is against the post, despite it having a lot of upvotes. Strange website, but I like it nonetheless
YAAAAAAA: Dean claims victory after a contentious recount in Ohio, resulting in the state's 20 Electoral Votes being awarded to him. Bush follows in his father's footsteps in being a defeated as an incumbent president.
@cloudwanderer3
Yeah, I can respect that he kept it pretty low key. He really was just a normal guy from Western Ohio, nothing super out of the ordinary. He didn't even make any money off of the museum and he didn't even want it built
