Agreed dropping anchors is correct procedure and the sharp change in course points to that. However the frontal picture of the ship shows no anchor chain coming out of the hawespipes. It certainly could have all run out with final link breaking off of chain locker wall though.

I love the irony of Norway being an example of a Socialism paradise. Used to be the poorest contry in Europe till they struck oil. They owe everything to oil but the same people who are climate change extremists hold Norway up as a shining example of what we should aspire to.

It's bigger than that. Mentally ill people living in the streets have access to free healthcare. They need halfway houses for those who will accept treatment and sad as it is to say some institutionalization until they can be released to halfway houses and ultimately self care.

Remedial courses should not even be offered in universities. There's no reason to spend $500/credit hour for a junior high school class.
They should be offered in Community Colleges however as so many people there find themselves in career transition. And CC should be free.

I did study Admiralty Law. The ship remains the property of the owner if the owner pursues a remedy and states as much. That doesn't mean they won't incur a debt to independent salvagers that pursue a remedy first. The ship's operators may or may not be the ship's owners.
