2/ Mr. Candelaria was convicted of driving under the influence of alcohol, driving with a blood alcohol content of 0.08 percent or greater, and evading officers.

1/ San Francisco District Attorney @BrookeJenkinsSF announced today that her office secured a conviction of Samuel Joe Candelaria after a trial by jury for driving under the influence on the Bay Bridge.

3/ The San Francisco District Attorney’s Office moved to have him detained pending trial in that case because of the public safety risk he posed. The court set no bail and kept Mr. Dzul-Canul in custody. Mr. Dzul-Canul’s next court date is 7/29/25.

2/ Mr. Dzul-Canul was initially charged in connection to 3 alleged residential burglary incidents in the Richmond District allegedly committed on 5/22/25 & 5/28/25.

1/ Today, San Francisco District Attorney @BrookeJenkinsSF announced that Gaspar Dzul-Canul has been charged with multiple felonies in connection with 17 residential burglaries throughout San Francisco.

3/ Each individual charged is alleged to have sold drugs to undercover @SFPD. Several are alleged to also be unlawfully in possession of firearms. Some are also alleged to have committed these crimes while they were released on OR in pending criminal cases +/or on supervision.

2/ 4 individuals were arraigned on 7/15/25 + pleaded not guilty to all charges. 2 individuals made their 1st court appearance on 7/15 but were arraigned on 7/17 + pleaded not guilty. The DA's Office moved to have all 6 detained pending trial due to the public safety risk.

1/ Today, San Francisco District Attorney @BrookeJenkinsSF announced that six individuals were charged in connection to four suspected drug dealing cases in Civic Center, the Mission District, the Tenderloin + SOMA.

3/ Mr. Jackson is currently in custody. Ms. Lampkins is currently out of custody. Sentencing for both is scheduled for 8/18/25.

2/ Mr. Jackson was convicted of 1st-deg willful, deliberate, premeditated murder, w/ allegations that he personally discharged a firearm at an occupied motor vehicle + that he unlawfully possessed a firearm while masked for the purpose of concealing his identity.

1/ Today, DA @BrookeJenkinsSF announced the conviction of Brejon Jackson of San Francisco, after a trial by jury for murder. The jury also convicted Mr. Jackson’s girlfriend, Nakida Lampkins of 2 counts of forging a Certificate of Title + passing a forged Certificate of Title.

3/ Mr. Hong noticed that the victim was still outside the store. He confronted the victim, then charged at the victim, punched him in the face w/ a key protruding from his knuckles + kicked the victim as he fell to the ground. Mr. Hong is currently out of custody.

2/ According to testimony + evidence, on 3/19/25, the victim entered Walgreens + shoplifted. The security guard alerted Mr. Hong, the Walgreens manager. After a confrontation, Mr. Hong recovered the stolen item + the victim, who was charged w/ petty theft & battery, left.

1/ San Francisco District Attorney @BrookeJenkinsSF announced today that her office secured a conviction of Guang Hong, after a trial by jury for an assault of man in the Castro. Mr. Hong was convicted of assault with force likely to produce great bodily injury.

3/ Mr. Jones is currently in custody. His sentencing hearing is scheduled for 8/25/25.

2/ Mr. Jones was convicted of 4 cts of 1st-degree residential robbery in Concert w/ enhancements for a principal armed w/ a firearm; 1 ct of carjacking w/ an enhancement for principal armed w/ a firearm; + 1st-deg residential burglary w/ a hot prowl enhancement found true.
