Today, San Francisco DA @BrookeJenkinsSF announced two convictions after a trial by jury for drug dealing in the Tenderloin & other drug related crimes. The jury’s verdicts in these cases affirms the public’s commitment & ongoing support for this critical work.

4/ The District Attorney’s Office moved to have Mr. Darn detained pending trial without bail because of the public safety risk he poses. The court set no bail for Mr. Darn, and he remains in custody.  Mr. Darn’s next court date is 10/21/25, for preliminary hearing.

3/ ...a substance containing fentanyl exceeding 100g & an allegation that he was armed at the time. The weight enhancement alleged is pursuant to new laws that were enacted w/ the passage of Prop 36. He is also charged w/ possession for sale cocaine, meth, heroin & marijuana.

2/ Mr. Darn is charged w/ possession of a firearm by a felon, carrying a loaded firearm, having a concealed firearm, possession of ammunition, 4 counts of possession of fentanyl & other controlled substances while armed, possession for sale, w/ an allegation that they possessed..

1/ Today, District Attorney @BrookeJenkinsSF announced that Clyde Darn has been charged with multiple felonies in connection with narcotics trafficking in the Tenderloin. Mr. Darn was arraigned on 10/13/25, and pleaded not guilty to all charges and denied the allegations.

2/ Mr. Salvador is currently in custody.  Sentencing is scheduled for October 27, 2025.

1/ San Francisco District Attorney @BrookeJenkinsSF announced today that her office secured a conviction of Armando Salvador after a trial by jury for arson. Mr. Salvador was convicted of eight counts of arson of another's property, and two counts of unlawfully causing a fire.

May his memory be for a blessing.

As District Attorney, he was known for his even-handed administration of the justice system and for prioritizing domestic violence, hate crimes + women’s & LGBTQ+ rights. Among his many accomplishments was the creation of one of the first domestic violence units in the country.

Remembering San Francisco District Attorney Arlo Smith (1927-2025): In the aftermath of the murders of Mayor George Moscone & Supervisor Harvey Milk, Arlo successfully ran for District Attorney. He was reelected three more times and served with distinction from 1980-1995.

3/ Mr. Robinson is currently in custody. Sentencing will be scheduled after a bench trial scheduled for 11/14/25, regarding aggravating factors & allegations that he was previously convicted of murder & attempted murder + was out on parole for less than 3 yrs at the time.

2/ Mr. Robinson was convicted of robbery in the first degree, child endangerment, criminal threats, possession of a firearm with prior violent conviction, convicted person carrying loaded firearm, and assault with semi-automatic firearm.

1/ San Francisco District Attorney @BrookeJenkinsSF announced today that her office secured a conviction of Darryl Robinson also known as Patrick Rushing, after a trial by jury for a violent residential robbery in the Outer Richmond.

4/ AB 1213 passed the legislature with unanimous support from all legislators with no opposing votes recorded throughout the legislative process.  Passage of AB 1213 demonstrates there is strong bipartisan support for common-sense legislation that puts victims first.

3/ Consistent with Marsy’s Rights guaranteed by the State of California’s Constitution, the Restitution First Act ensures that victims of crime are paid first and are made whole financially by those convicted of the crimes that caused the losses before any other fines and fees.

2/ The Restitution First Act prioritizes restitution payments to victims of crime ahead of any other orders, judgments, liens or other debt owed by a person convicted of a crime associated with their conviction.

1/ Assemblymember @Stefani4CA's bill, AB 1213, the Restitution First Act, sponsored by District Attorney @BrookeJenkinsSF was signed into law by @CAgovernor Newsom.

San Francisco D.A. Brooke Jenkins announced she is charging a suspect with murder in the shooting death of an Urban Alchemy worker last Friday in the Civic Center area.
