14/.This means that 96% of the GAO workforce is politically aligned with Democrats. The GAO can't maintain its ability to be an objective and non-partisan organization when 96% of it's politically active empolyees are Democrats.

13/.In addition to all of this, there is strong evidence that the GAO itself as an almost entirely partisan workforce. According to the FEC, 778 GAO employees gave to political causes from 2020-2025. 745 of them donated to Democrats, just 33 donated to Republicans.

12/.Most importantly, the GAO suggested in a report that and entire matrix of accountability be implemented at all levels and across the federal workforce in order to ensure that DEI was being successfully enacted across the federal workforce.

11/.The GAO did this with a number of government agencies including: . -The State Department.-Department of Defence.-USAID.-The IRS

10/.This is the use of Gao as an "accountability" mechanism for the purposes of making sure that DEI gets forced into everything. In short, under the Biden administration the GAO was essentially used as a tracking and enforcement arm to ensure DEI was getting put into everything.

9/.Now, that same report admits that they have not actually one a proper job of investigating the cause of the disparity in question, and yet they still suggest that DEI programs are a necessity.

8/.In that report the GAO said explicitly that it wanted to establish performance measures with respect to DEI goals and then to link performance assessments to the successful implementation of DEI.

7/.This isn't just a throw away statement on a podcast. The GAO produces reports for congress regarding various policy issues. Here, the GAO tells the Committee on Foreign Relations and the U.S. Senate they need the additional actions on their DEI programs:

5/.This means the GAO has both an efficiency role, and an effectiveness role: It ensures money is being used as efficiently as possible, and it makes sure that government institutions are implementing the policy of the government in an effective way (rather than subverting it).

4/.As such, GAO has an auditing role, and an advising role. That is, GAO is supposed to audit institutions for waste, fraud, and abuse. GAO also provides congress with expertise about the scope, authority, and capability of government agencies when congress wants to make policy.

3/.In other words, the GAO is supposed to ensure that government institutions are actually using the funding they get from congress to implement the policies congress has actually passed, rather just implementing the policies that the bureaucrats themselves prefer.

2/.The job of the GAO is to hold government institutions accountable for the way they spend money and carry out their mission. That is, the GAO doesn't decide what policies get implemented, it makes sure the policies government passes get implemented, whatever those happen to be.
