Anas Sarwar has talked a big game about moving Scottish politics beyond constitutional issues. Doesn't ring true through when under his leadership Labour will only work with Tories and Lib Dems but not SNP or Greens. What is the explanation for that beyond unionist solidarity?

The DRS was agreed by the Scottish Parliament BEFORE the Internal Market Act was passed. Westminster hasn't even published details of its scheme. How are Wales and Scotland meant to align their schemes? This whole affair has been an attack on devolution from the Tories.

I was raised Catholic and I don't remember prayers ever requiring placards, microphones or a nearby hospital. The 'vigils' are nothing of the sort, they're coordinated intimidation of people seeking and people providing health care.

I've been observing this debate for a while and I'm increasingly concerned about the rebranding of prayer vigils as 'intimidation' or 'harassment'. If you oppose prayer vigils then make your case but pretending they're the equivalent of a mob is not only lazy, it's dishonest.

@blairanderson35 @scottishgreens @patrickharvie @lornaslater This is an unfair mischaracterisation of the motion. It wasn't a call for a Vote of No Confidence and therefore it falling wasn't a vote of confidence. I didn't support it but acting as if it was an attack on Patrick and Lorna is unfair on the proposers and simply untrue

Even if the Labour constitutional reforms were significant enough, which they are not, voting for a person that would do this - that would even consider violating human rights like this - would be too high a price to pay. It would be morally unconscionable.

It may be 'popular' but it is wrong. Well funded services are popular. Support for society's most vulnerable is popular. Functioning local councils are popular. But these are the cost of the freeze, and the SNP is lying about that. A poll without that context is meaningless.
