I was raised Catholic and I don't remember prayers ever requiring placards, microphones or a nearby hospital.
The 'vigils' are nothing of the sort, they're coordinated intimidation of people seeking and people providing health care.
I've been observing this debate for a while and I'm increasingly concerned about the rebranding of prayer vigils as 'intimidation' or 'harassment'. If you oppose prayer vigils then make your case but pretending they're the equivalent of a mob is not only lazy, it's dishonest.

Glasgow is in an impossible situation.
The council has to choose between pushing up an unfair and regressive tax to ridiculous heights or leaving our already decimated public services completely unfunded.
Either would be disastrous. The Scottish Government must act now.
The Council Leader wrote today that to fill the budget gap, we'd need to raise Council Tax by ~ 25%.
Instead of us pushing that regressive tax up ridiculous amounts, Holyrood MSPs should vote to increase income tax more tomorrow to help properly fund councils & our shared goals.

This is one of my key motivators in supporting the call to end the BHA.
In our support for the Scottish Government and their devastating cuts Greens have turned our backs on colleges, students lecturers.
We need to stop compromising our principles. We need to support education.
Workers and students in FE will never forget how SGP and SNP ruined the sector.
Genuinely no idea who to vote for after being an active Green member for 9 years.

In the linked article Cllr. Kerr is quoted saying Glasgow's people have great affection for the institution of the royal family.
I wondered why it is then that they elected 11 explicitly republican Scottish Green councillors, and only 2 empire-glorifying Tories.
The Greens are so detached from reality - this is where their priorities sit, debating flags.
What a complete waste of taxpayers' time and money.
Glaswegians deserve and expect better.

Great to see the Scottish Child Payment is having such an impact.
It's frustrating that the SNP leadership want to use so much of the Scotgov budget on a regressive council tax freeze which will hurt the most vulnerable in society, rather than fund more policies like the SCP.

I'm thankful that a lot of that time was at the same stations as

It may be 'popular' but it is wrong.
Well funded services are popular. Support for society's most vulnerable is popular. Functioning local councils are popular.
But these are the cost of the freeze, and the SNP is lying about that. A poll without that context is meaningless.

Keiza is speaking the truth all MSPs know, a council tax freeze is a regressive policy that helps the already well off the most and hurts those in most need.
To know this and still countenance voting for it is wrong.

Decriminalisation of drugs would save lives and should have been policy decades ago.

Blair is right. It's distressing but even in the last year it's noticeable how hatred directed at LGBTQ+ people has increased and it's the direct result of the ridiculous moral panic against trans people.
Transphobia has made homophobia acceptable again too.
It does feel inevitable to me that an LGBTQ+ politician is going to get killed.
Homophobia is becoming normal again. Bigots are getting bolder. Outspoken queer politicians get death threats and are under constant attack.
The way things are going, violence feels inevitable.
