Liam Kerr has since withdrawn the wording supporting conversion therapy, claiming to be "horrified" at the idea.
I have to ask - who gave him the wording, then? Why didn't he read it and understand what he was promoting? Whose dirty work is he doing?
If there's any doubt that conversion therapy remains a threat to people in Scotland let that be laid to rest by Liam Kerr MSP.
Liam Kerr's suggested amendment to the Hate Crime act expressly argues in favour of conversion therapy being legal in Scotland (2.b).

I'm all for planting trees, but why are Scottish Ministers supporting Shell's greenwashing campaign? Yesterday they were announced to be among the top 20 companies responsible for CO2 emissions worldwide - over 30bn tonnes since 1965. That's a lot more than 1 million trees.

I went with friends to the TDoR vigil at Holyrood, and there were a couple of hundred people there. I'm used to trans events being almost all trans folk and a few allies, meeting sometimes one friend there, but this seemed to be about 1:2 trans people to supporters.
