This is what matters. Not chants, artists, festivals. While the UK press and political establishment are engaged in navel gazing fury, innocent men, women and children in Gaza continue to be massacred with impunity. For shame. Our future generations should never forgive us.

Iran has been shown up as a paper tiger, but there’s no indication that its nuclear programme has been wiped out. Its stocks of enriched, more-or-less weapons grade uranium have probably survived the Israeli and US attacks.

I am old enough to remember what happened the last time we went to war on the basis of a "sexed up dossier" based on dodgy intelligence.
The 🇺🇸 intelligence assessments are now evidently doctored on orders from the White House. The rest of the world could accordingly come to see them as less credible. Politicized intelligence has a very bad history.

An awful statement from the PM, which ignores our collective responsibility to uphold international law. Suporting illegal military action in Iran, and gas-lighting us about an imminent nuclear threat, is hauntingly reminiscent of the lies told in the run up to the Iraq war.
Iran’s nuclear programme is a grave threat to international security. Iran can never be allowed to develop a nuclear weapon and the US has taken action to alleviate that threat. The situation in the Middle East remains volatile and stability in the region is a priority. We call.

If the UK Government believes those protesting against the atrocities in Gaza are terrorists, but those killing children should be supported and provided with weapons, then this Government has not only lost its way, it has lost its conscience.

Don't forget about Gaza. While the world is distracted, almost 400 people - queueing for food - have been gunned down by Israeli forces. You don't accidentally kill 400 people waiting for aid, they have been deliberately massacred. The UK must end all arms sales to Israel now.
