Kemi Badenoch just said: "another company, Petrofac, has just decided that it cannot go on in Scotland" - either a deliberate lie from her or complete ignorance. Petrofac's UK operations are growing and successful. The workers deserve better than this wilful misinformation.

Even though battery storage is safe, perception is important. I'll continue this conversation and look at the best available evidence. Defra has also consulted on regulation recently and will respond in due course. Our aim is always to bring communities with us on this mission.

Battery storage is safe and vital to bring down bills by storing cheap electricity for when we need it. However I know there are some concerns in communities so I met experts from the Environment Agency, Fire Chiefs, devolved govts, insurers & developers to discuss it further.

Unlike John Swinney, I am not going to insult the intelligence of Scots. The Scottish election is about building a better Scotland - not about Reform or another election that is four years away. As First Minister, I will deliver the transformative change Scotland needs.

Today we publish the Carbon Budget & Growth Delivery Plan. This plan details how families and businesses will benefit from lower bills, skilled jobs, warmer homes and cleaner air. It’s about delivering better lives for people today, and protecting future generations too.

Today’s @JTCScotland Summit comes at a crucial time. Transitions are never easy but pretending one isn’t underway isn’t the answer. The UK Government will deliver a plan for the future of the North Sea and a pragmatic future for oil & gas alongside investment to create new jobs.
