UEFA has fined Maccabi Tel-Aviv €20k for "racist and/or discriminatory behaviour of its supporters" during last week's Europa League away match at Stuttgart. MTA also been handed a one-game ban for away supporters in UEFA competitions, suspended for a 2-year probationary period.

Alcohol exists in Scottish football. People go to pubs prior to kick-off and if you can afford to purchase hospitality tickets you often have access to a bar. Allowing supporters to consume alcohol at every other sporting event apart from football is nonsensical and classist.

Alcohol Focus Scotland do some excellent work but I totally disagree with them on this front. Bringing sales back would allow clubs to increase revenue and monitor how much alcohol supporters consume. Hosting opposing supporters in the stadium earlier would decrease disorder.
Those behind the push to bring alcohol sales back to #ScottishFootball pretend fans are unanimously behind it But many fans know what it could mean - already increasing disorder and violence getting worse, making stadia unsafe for families
