This is really worrying news. Without annual targets, the chances of meeting the 2045 target will be reduced. Climate action is not being given the priority or funding which it urgently requires.

Very disappointing from the SNP. Please sign this petition to demonstrate your support for effective rent controls.
Today the SNP announced plans to water down rent controls and impose above inflation rent hikes on private tenants. This would mean rents continuing to rise even in the strongest rent control zones. Homes must be for living in, not for profiteering. 👇

It was a real privilege to welcome @ReidFoundation to @GlasgowCC on behalf of the @LordProvostGCC and to hear Mick Lynch's views on how working class organising can create a more just society @RMTunion.
Thanks to everyone who attended the Jimmy Reid Memorial Lecture this evening. Mick Lynch drew on the struggles Jimmy and others led in their day to point to the importance of an organised working class to address the challenges of today.
