This is a bit strange. There's no such role in the constitution. The role of spokesperson will be an elected role within the CEC. The members voted to exclude MPs from the CEC. If the 4 MPs want to divvy up specific parliamentary roles that is a conversation between them.

The cost of running a national office and the wages of national staff etc is huge. The amount going to branches could leave neither the National office nor branches with enough funds to do anything significant. Where does the 50/50 figure come from?
