The evasive responses and lack of information encourage speculation. I deal with complex information & data as part of my work. I enjoyed science at school and have an engineering degree. I understand risk and that humans are not very good at judging risk in the real world.

@sewateruk Having seen a post on Facebook, I am prompted to ask a third question. Q3. Has cryptosporidium been found in the water during (a) the last 2 months and (b) the last 12 months?

@sewateruk South East Water - we want transparency, full answers, not part answers about what is not in the water. People are buying test kits. Q1. What is in our water requiring a boil notice? Q2. If the answer is nothing, what are the concerns & risks that have prompted a boil notice?

I am seeing people purchasing test kits to identify the issue with the tap water in Tunbridge Wells, @sewateruk. It's time to be fully transparent about the issue with our water. The lack of information and skirting around answering questions fully is increasing concern.

The questions for @sewateruk are: Q1. What is in our water requiring a boil notice? Q2. If the answer is nothing, what are the concerns and risks that have prompted a boil notice? I'm asking for full transparency. https://t.co/4AzbqyS7uw

We are told that there is "a potential risk in the final disinfection stage of the treatment process". We have been told that e. coli and cryptosporidium are not in the water. Has anything been found in the water? What is the concern that requires a boil notice?

The more we're not told, the more concerned we become. When the Head of Water Quality only tells us what isn't the problem, it feels as though there's something South East Water doesn't want to tell us. The evasive responses amplify concerns. What is in our water?

Brushing teeth isn't what it used to be, too. Bottled water and notes attached to taps. We are still being kept in the dark by @sewateruk. Questions: https://t.co/BadAqyRDLD

Initially, we were told it was a bad batch of coagulant chemicals (step 3). Now, we're told the water is chemically safe and we need to boil it because it doesn't meet the quality regulations (step 8), and we're told it's not e. coli or cryptosporidium. What's in our water? 🤔

@sewateruk Your answers only provide part of the information! 🙄 Q1 - If it's not e. coli or sporidium, what has been found in the water that triggered the boil notice? Q2 - The water you supply is suitable for baby formula, but, importantly, other bottled water might not be suitable.

Bottled water, kettle, 2 bowls. Washing up isn't what it used to be. @sewateruk is not being transparent about the reason for a "boil notice". First it was a bad batch of chemicals, then the disinfection step, but it's not e. coli or cryptosporidium. So what is in our water?

It's not going away for @Nigel_Farage, even though this is about his behaviour when he was a schoolboy around 45 years ago. We shouldn't overlook the letter from a school master at the time published by @Channel4News in 2013. https://t.co/0CJw7sJ9jC
