The Civil Service code defines 'impartiality' as requiring a 'commitment to equality and diversity'. How can being impartial involve a commitment to an overtly politicised agenda? No wonder things are going wrong. War is peace, freedom is slavery, ignorance is strength.

All MPs enter a ballot to be picked for a PMQ - you have the same chances of being called as the rest of us. I note though that you came out the ballot for DEFRA questions this morning but didn’t show up to ask your question….

🚨Keir Starmer's No 10 is cancelling the afternoon lobby briefing, when journalists can ask the PM's spox as many questions they like, for as long as they like. They'll also sometimes cancel morning lobby, replacing it with press conferences with ministers, meaning many orgs

No10 has sneaked out, at 4.50pm on the last day before Christmas, that they are cancelling the daily afternoon lobby briefing for journalists. And they'll sometimes be cancelling the morning one too, to in favour of a televised press conference, to which "content creators" will

It takes the Sun 225–250 million years to orbit the Milky Way’s centre. A Galactic Year. Travelling at 515,000 mph, we’ve only made about 20 laps in the Sun’s 4.6 billion year history. The last time we were in this spot, dinosaurs were just appearing! 🦖✨

Fun fact: @Nigel_Farage said he would buy a house in Clacton a year ago. He then angrily stated “I’ve just exchanged contracts on a house in Clacton, what more can I do?”. He then stated his girlfriend Laure Ferrari had bought it. He then said he had had an expensive weekend
