Loves I’m about to sit down and write about the NHS plan, and how this government seems to be using bizarre ways to punish failing parts of the NHS. It smacks of “let’s ensure some bits of it truly fall part so we can open the floodgates to privatisation” . Big red flags 🚩.

This is why politicians could fund the NHS properly. They are choosing not to.
There’s a persistent myth that our government is somehow at the mercy of the financial markets and that it has to dance to their tune. This is most definitely doing the rounds this week, mainly as a result of Labour's mismanagement of its own party, and Rachel Reeves' subsequent.
