@SwannMarcus89 Monthly payments are tiny. No interest accumulates ever. All loans are forgiven in 10/20/25 years without a taxable event. There is no student loan debt crisis anymore. It's a glorified income share program. (There's still a college cost crisis, but taxpayers are the losers.)

@Empty_America 1,000% I had a 1.7GPA in high school & 99th percentile ACT (poor & homeless, more concerned with earning wages than school). I went to community college, transferred with a 4.0 to my state flagship, graduated, worked in tech, 99th percentile LSAT, then a top tier law school.

There is no such thing as "policing false speech." There is only "policing speech the government declares to be false." If you are in favor of the government policing speech it declares to be false, you are authoritarian. That is, in fact, a core feature of authoritarianism.

@embersunn I doubt they'd disqualify "self taught+" candidates. If all you can say for yourself is you're self-taught, you are a dime a dozen. But if you can say, "I was self taught and I've accomplished...." that's a different story. You need to stand out in a competitive market.
