Bron gets rest trusting Reaves to take over secondary playmaker duties. Klay doesn’t give you that. He doesn’t give you the FT attempts. He doesn’t give you the defense. Reaves shot 39% from 3 (albeit lesser volume). He’s imo more important to this lakers team than Klay would be.

Dudley is like another shane battier. Not super athletic but extremely smart, can hit 3’s, can defend well, takes charges etc. There’s a reason battier was always on winning teams exceeding expectations (griz, hou) and even won a ring w Miami as a key player.
