I feel like millions of NEETs are already working on their excuses for why they can't join ICE. "I have asthma." "90K doesn't go far these days.".
If you are a Right Wing Anon and are looking for a lucrative career opportunity then join ICE. Deportation Officers are making $90k to throw illegals into unmarked vans

I feel like the overwhelming desire of teens to drink beer was a load bearing social technology. Every guy in my generation wanted to move out from home ASAP in order to freely drink beer. We worked in order to drink beer. When the desire for beer (and girls) is gone . .
@Empty_America 18 year olds need a place to drink beer, other countries they can hit the bars (or local park), Americans need their own living place for it.

Is American teenage conflict downstream of the expectation that parents enforce "childhood until 18?". In the USA, a good parent must prevent all adult behaviors from 13-18 while teens are under your "custody.". Historically, teens often saw home as like a jail. However,.
@Empty_America @josephjnichols Our parents are much more lax and friendly than Anglo-Prots, treating their kids as fellow humans rather than an object to mold for the rest of society, disregarding their will. Also, as you noted, we don't have that oppressive "childhood until 18 years".

You will be even more related to your child if you marry your 1st cousin. You and your wife will have the same grandparents, inheritance issues become smooth, everyone in the family looks very similar, etc.
You will be more genetically related to a random White stranger than your own child if you miscegenate.

For Americans, one of the core events in life is leaving home at 18. For males this event is often *keenly* anticipated years in advance, it's like a drive that starts shortly after puberty, causes conflict in the home. Evidently this doesn't happen to foreigners?.
@Empty_America Well immigrants, by definition, have travelled halfway across the world. I think it's just puzzling for immigrants to understand why Americans want to get away from family unless there's a large economic pull.

There are many people high in the administration who appear to be compromised or secretly affiliated with Russia (if only by long term grooming in Ru-directed online spaces). But Trump himself likely isn't, and they might find themselves rapidly marginalized at some point.
BREAKING: Trump says, regarding the war with Ukraine, that he made no progress at all in today's phone call with Putin.

In practice, the ideal rate of astronaut casualties is not zero. There is a rate too high, where you are so aggressive that the loss of high skill "troops" impedes progress. And there is a rate so low that it suggests you aren't really doing anything at all (the current rate).
