Why? The expectation that you could make a product that's used by billions of people every day without having any negative consequences, is deeply unserious. Are CEOs of car manufacturers confronted with the families of victims of speeding and forced to apologize for their death?

No, they use PVD coating. Extremely durable. Same coating as the Apple Watches and they have no such issues of scratches or discoloration.

What you're missing is this: making hardware reduces your addressable users in the first 5 years by 100,000x. On top, it increases the complexity of the company you need to build by 10x. In exchange, there is definitely an upside. But it's not worth it for a brand new startup.

Im in Hong Kong and 100% same story. Everyone extremely responsible. 99% wear masks. Avoid crowds. No lockdown - many people on the streets but no crowds. Almost no spread.

It looks ok but what is the point? An AI voice assistant? I already have one in my phone and watch that I never use. It’s pitched as a smartphone replacement but I love my smartphone and don’t want to replace it. Strange product.

I live in Hong Kong. It's full of skyscrapers and high quality infrastructure for far longer than 20 years. Nothing here feels run down or depreciated. Traveling to the West is always depressing. When I land at LAX it feels like I land in the Soviet Union.

Um, no it doesn't. With a Calendly link, you're presented usually with 100+ available meeting slots and can pick the most convenient for you. No matter the method, you'll always have to check your calendar and find a slot that works for you. Calendly adds 0 extra work for you.

Why? I have found it completely useless. For example, having a second clock is not necessary. My phone is on my charger when I'm using my MacBook and I have a clock right there without taking the eyes of my screen. What's the point?

My family was from there. My great grandmother had to flee her farm, which became Polish territory. They lost everything. I have no resentment about this - neither do my parents. It's what happens if your government starts an immoral war. Everyone moved on generations ago.
