long before AGI eats the world, narrow AI will eat the stock market. it seems obvious this will happen with an open hedge fund. one that gives data away for free and lets any new AI improve it.

My only gripe is it would be nice if they didn’t use “Numerai Supreme” as their name as this is the name of our real global equity quant hedge fund.

HyperLiquid is not available in the US. This vault could be risky and Numerai has no relationship with whoever is behind the vault. But it could be interesting to watch what the world does with a free quant signal built by a decentralized community of data scientists and backed.

Data scientists submit to Numerai Crypto ( and the combined model signal is available for free. @HyperliquidX don’t have all the cryptocurrencies we have in our universe (they don’t have NMR yet!). But cool to see someone using the Crypto Meta Model live.

how many months until stablecoins flip ETH? ETH has market cap of $300bn (about the same as 2021) and stablecoins are at $255bn (up from ~$50bn in 2021). The biggest stablecoins also use centralized tradfi in a deep way (USDT & USDC). Is the revealed preference in favor of low.
Stablecoins working at scale significantly accelerates crypto as the future of the financial system. All financial services will need to be (re)built for this ecosystem. This is a once in a generation platform shift. The major pillars of the future of finance are up for grabs.

I heard @ilyasut’s SSI might be a hedge fund. You heard the same? Nice way to not bother with consumer product / RLHF crippling and win I think. But hard to justify SSI valuation if hedge fund is only product.

you run an endowment in 2010 you decide you should obviously just buy low fee beta and uncorrelated alpha: you buy the s&p on low collateral swap and buy millennium. you go to the south of France for 15 years to rest. how did you do? did you beat every other endowment? by how.

The last woke person I met was in 2016 and I live in San Francisco. Woke is outrage click bait for boomers: an online paper tiger with no real world counterpart.
Wokeness will seem such a joke in retrospect that many people won't believe it was ever a serious problem. Even many of the participants will forget. But it really was a big problem.

A great future is in sight for US crypto entrepreneurs some of which were frozen from developing their services/tokens for almost a decade leaving room for total nonsense crypto initiatives to dominate simply because they were based abroad. No longer!.
Insane how far defi has come so quickly 🤯. Maker + Compound + Uniswap launches in 2018 feel like the true start of the movement (+others like 0x, augur, etc) . The word DeFi didn't even exist before then. Now government agencies publicly recognize it as a national priority.
