Hot take: this will be WILDLY successful and make Meta smart glasses go as viral as AirPods Max after a couple of years. Insanely useful to see notifications, text messages, navigation, etc right in front of your eyes. As well as speakers, mics, camera, AI assistant, etc.
Meta’s first smart glasses with a display coming in September will now be priced from $800. They were originally expected to be $1000+. The change stems in part from the company accepting lower margins to boost demand — a common tactic for new products.

And BAM! We now have Apple’s ONLY good reason to release M5 MacBook Pros!. Otherwise the upgrade would’ve honestly sucked. Prior to this, I thought it made more sense for Apple to skip and wait for the OLED redesign. Now, 5G is coming!!!.

There’s our M4 Ultra chip! Hidra and everything. Looks like Apple was a little sneaky when they said not all chip generations will get an Ultra chip, saying that the M4 Max die doesn’t have UltraFusion. So either it’s monolithic or they’re making a new batch, just like M3 Max.

What if M5 Pro and M5 Max MacBook Pros don't launch until OLED panels are ready?. imo: If M6 series of chips are on 2nm, then Apple would be better off shipping the first OLED redesigned models on M5 series chips so that people have a reason to upgrade to 2nm M6 chips next time.

Agreed. This is the #1 feature I'm waiting for on iPhone!. By far the biggest quality of life upgrade, more-so than A19 Pro or any camera upgrade. You look at the screen 100% of the time that you use it. So glad to hear that it's coming next month to the 17 Pro models!.
