Agree on the decision, always thought building an EVM SC layer on the hub was silly. But to make this decision now, months after the initial decision was taken which badly damaged "the hub's SC layer" Neutron, and now all the teams that committed to building on the new layer is.
@Bitcoin_Sage @cosmos @neutron_org Respect the for pivoting though when they'd already invested so much. I think that's a tough decisions. I'm glad we said no to offers/discussions to build on the Hub. Generally very bearish on any general puspose L1. Didn't work for Terra 2, Juno etc. .

Months ago @cosmos Hub pivots to a smart contract platform, indirectly rugging @neutron_org. Now, after getting many teams to commit to build on the Hub's EVM layer Cosmos Hub announces pausing of an EVM platform on the hub. Cosmos value destruction at its finest.

To be able to build decently complex and reliable products, there seem to be 2 absolutely fundamental things to master when vibe coding:. 1. Creating lean, non-bloated code. By default Claude Code and Cursor turn your codebase in an unmanageable bloated mess. Which you'll be.

Cursor seems kinda doomed. Claude Code is far superior on code execution and likely will remain so given it's closer to the underlying models (sonnet and opus). Once Anthropic adds a nice UI it seems gg for Cursor. Good on them for closing a 625m round at 9.6b.

Terra was 3-4 years ahead of its time. It had stonks with @mirror_protocol, savings with @anchor_protocol, Robinhood like apps to onboard normies and a thriving defi ecosystem. With a UX and smoothness unrivaled since. 3 years since the collapse of Terra not a chain has.
