Very sad to hear of the passing of Nigel Lawson. He was one of this country’s greatest Chancellor’s. Rest in Peace.
One of the first things I did as Chancellor was hang a picture of Nigel Lawson above my desk.
He was a transformational Chancellor and an inspiration to me and many others.

Very sad to see St. Mark’s church destroyed by fire overnight.
It was a beautiful church that was a pleasure to visit, or even just to walk past (as we used to do most days).
My thoughts are with the vicar and the community.
A fire has destroyed a heritage-listed church, St Mark's in St John's Wood, northwest London.
Eighty firefighters and 12 fire engines were on the scene.

Over recent years Policy Exchange has successfully used its nefarious influence to secure govt policies such as:
