Amazing how they claim modest tax cuts require an @OBR_UK forecast but not a massive spending binge. I look forward to hearing all the outrage and hysteria about this. Or maybe it was never about the OBR forecast. .
Key thing to note if you're watching the Spring Statement: none of the figs in this speech were vetted or checked by the OBR. So it's even more difficult than usual to interpret/analyse them. Ironic, given RR pledged never to hold a big fiscal event without the OBR's oversight.
