Immigration is almost always a breeze at Prague airport. We allow all EU nationals to use our eGates, and the Czechs put others to shame when they show that the Brits don’t have to be punished for Brexit. When will @MUC_Airport @MUC_Airport_ will stop putting the Brits last?

It’s taken me 40 years to get a taste for Prague main station’s (Hlavní Nádraží) extension. But the red & black decor, oppressively low ceilings and lamps are peak late 70s style. I will check if it’s on the preservation list. And good it’s named for Woodrow Wilson.

There’s always a lot to be learned from the Czech Republic. I’ve been here more than a hundred times. The Germans might learn from the Czechs how to operate good border controls. 🇨🇿 Controls that accept the UK has left the EU, but don’t single us out for a punishment beating.

@GregHands @MUC_Airport_ Completely agree. There is no good reason not to make EU e-gates available to a wider group of nationalities. Americans and Koreans can also use UK e-gates. Brexit is a convenient excuse, but in fact it reflects badly on the EU countries who can’t get their act together.

Coming back from Germany for a Königswinter UK - Germany friendship conference, here is the contrast between how we treat each other’s nationals. ✅ UK border - Germans sail through using the eGates, same as us. ❌ 🇩🇪 border at @MUC_Airport_, Brits treated worse than Chile!
