Having been informed by journalists that I’m on a Labour list of possible defectors I would like to confirm I’m going nowhere. The
@Conservatives
is and always will be my political home, and I’m definitely far too left wing for the current

So sorry to learn of the third serious incident involving a bus at Victoria Station. My thoughts are with the woman fighting for her life & her family.

Sat down with
@Mark_J_Harper
and MPs from across the
@chilternrailway
network to discuss how we can improve the service, and ensure it no longer relies on diesel trains.
Really useful meeting on its future, including discussions about replacing its existing rolling stock.

Following the awful fire in Page St, Pimlico last night, I applaud the emergency services and
@CityWestminster
for their swift response.
My thoughts remain with all those affected.

@SteveBakerFRSA
was absolutely correct to press his security button today. All MPs have been advised to carry these devices. I do. It’s a sad situation when a democratically elected politician is harassed in such a way when attempting to speak to his constituents.
🚨Today in
#Wycombe
, I used my SOS device for the first time, as a precaution.
⚠️This gentleman who accosted me about Gaza kept his distance and did not threaten me but I felt it wise to plan on escalation.

Pedicab regulation becomes law!
The King has signed our pedicab Bill into law. Thank you to everyone for your support over the years.
It now falls to Transport for London to consult on pedicab licensing, and I hope they will have the licensing scheme in place by early Autumn.

Thanks to everyone who supported my campaign to secure pedicab regulation. It was a battle but we got there in the end. Over to
@TfL
now.

This

My thoughts and condolences are with
@frankfieldteam
and his family on this sad day. Lord Field was campaigning to the end. Fighting for justice and poverty especially for children. I was proud to be his constituency MP.
I wrote to
@leader_wcc
and the Chief Exec of
@CityWestminster
to ask them to fly the flag of St George today, unfortunately they refused. Rightly the flag pole at City Hall is used to celebrate and note important events - I think that St George's Day deserves to be celebrated.

this is possibly the most irresponsible e-bike parking I’ve seen to date in Two Cities. And I’ve seen a lot!!
Corner of Pimlico Road & Ebury Bridge Road.
