I've been beta testing 1.1.4 on my Ai pin and it's been phenomenal. Battery life is great now, and all the refinements and UX changes have turned it into a device I now regularly use for research, Q&A, notes, and much more. The difference between 1.1.3 & 1.1.4 is quite stark and.
Today the team had the go/no-go on our 1.1.4 release after a successful beta period. Very excited to say it was a go and we were able to start the phased rollout to customers today. We will take it slow, monitor, and push incrementally to more folks over the next 10 days.

@GaryMarcus I'd rephrase to "Most serious developers are using GPT-4 or better." The limited context window alone would prevent ChatGPT 3.5 from being an effective coding tool for a lot of devs. If you were using ChatGPT for work you are being paid for - you should be able to afford the $20.

I hope and expect that many current subscribers will continue with Perplexity for that reason. I also think the brand is more.

Agreed. I’ve been using @Neeva full time for a few months and have not missed Google search at all. It’s refreshing to not see ads in search results.
I think Google has never been at a worse spot than now. Google Search is littered with spam results. Google Maps is full of fake reviews. It’s starting to lose people’s trust I think.

I prefer it to GPT 4, especially when it comes to writing style and answer formatting. I already had nice things to say about pplx pro before, but the addition of Claude 3 makes me comfortable.
