Seriously, we built Arc *with* you. Let's keep going!
Starting today, students and educators with a school email get early access to the Arc on Windows beta!
You're our best bug reporters and feedback-givers. Help us build the best Arc we can 🍎
It's back to school season!
We’re endlessly inspired by our students on Arc
So much that we’re opening the opportunity for you to earn... equity in The Browser Company

We are MAXED out!?
So many of you are trying out Arc Max that we've already exceeded the available data limits...
Resolving it ASAP with
@OpenAI
&
@AnthropicAI
!
Thank you for your patience 🌸
Tomorrow, we’re releasing a small but mighty feature that moves us closer to...
A ✨Post-Google✨ Internet
Now Arc will automatically suggest
@ChatGPTapp
— instead of Google — for certain search queries.
Why is this such a big deal, and what does it tease about our future?
Software that *makes you feel something* isn't just about the big launches...
It's about all the small things the team pushes each and every week 📆

Arc Search is growing around the world...
So we're kicking off localization with our community!
Today we're starting small with local language support for Browse for Me and Pinch to Summarize (+ a special localized onboarding for 🇯🇵 co-created with Arc member

✨“Maybe it’s time to admit that the basic assumption of what a browser is could be all wrong”✨
Our friends
@mikeyk

@darinwf
, and
@zoink
spoke with Bloomberg
@BW
about
@browsercompany
– and why we should ask more of our browsers!
What if your browser cared about more than being just a search box?
Excited to dream about “what can be” in this next chapter of the internet — and to share a new round of funding (

Google’s Chrome and Apple’s Safari browsers have escaped the brunt of antitrust attention so far, but competitors have grown more vocal in their complaints to regulators
Hello internet!
We thought it was about time we properly introduced ourselves...
We gave
@pierce
a behind-the-scenes look at the
@browsercompany
— including both our great and terrible feature ideas!
👋
Big browser welcome to
@dolapo
, our new Head of Engineering! A kind soul who's built awesome products from Google Reader to IG & Slack.
Tech interviews are stressful, so we we had
@hursh
interview him *after* he joined to get the full story!

We're opening up our thinking around Memory + Agents
@browsercompany
as we build infra for a "browser that browses for you"…
and the biggest thing on my mind is RELIABILITY
We wouldn’t trust tools that got emails/texts/etc wrong 1/10 times but that's where models are today-
“It’s in the name ‘browser’ — they’re designed to be passive vehicles for looking at the internet. We want users to participate in it, creating alongside it.” -

And for my first trick with Arc style boost, I removed youtube shorts from my subscription feed!
@browsercompany
Took around 10 mins with some knowledge of CSS and inspect elements. Learned a new CSS selector while at it to 🤓
My first step of many to reclaim the web 🎉
@davechaps
@rileyj_s
Sorry about this :/
Have you checked out our Air Traffic Control feature? You can auto route tabs (like Google Meet) into Arc Spaces rather than having them go to Little Arc.
@yu3san3
Right now you can't bring PiP back after minimizing it unless you create a new tab/close and restart the tab, but we know this isn't ideal and our team is working on it!
