The reason I mention it is idk if the AMD V3000 series SoC Tesla uses have a DSP included on the package to handle listening for the wake word. With the PCIe lanes from the SoC, there’s a good chance they have more compute somewhere off the FSD computer to run it. I’m curious how.

Ok so if this is coming, I’m curious how. Normally it runs on your smart phone devices with a DSP (digital signal processor) that can run a small model on digital signals, like a microphone, to recognize wake words.
Would be cool to have an optional “Hey Grok” wake word in our Teslas.

I gave Grok 4 and Grok 4 Heavy a PDF report, along with 7 other LLMs, and asked for a summary of key findings. Then fed all of the responses into an Gemini 2.5 Pro with the original report and asked it to judge each of the responses. This was the Grok 4 and Grok 4 Heavy result

We're gonna need all of these major service providers with 10-15 year old infrastructure to upgrade to modern. everything, and compute move towards non-AI infrastructure as well. Maybe rebuilding it also means AI-first backends, APIs, and infrastructure!.

It's funny, so many websites are so slow and the backends are so old that it'll make AI agents, even with fast inference, feel slow. Delta takes 20 seconds to load flight results when searching. the agent waits this, like the user would, but the user blames the agent not Delta.
