Nuclear physicist & former IAEA inspector Jeff Smith reported back in 2015 that a video received from Yemen of an explosion, when analyzed by nuclear weapons experts is, by very high probability, a neutron bomb that could only have been an Israeli attack
@BoltzmannBooty
Seems like a lifetime ago but I remember when a '90s-era Bicycling magazine cover was titled "Man's noblest invention" and I have yet to see falsifying evidence.

"A California startup--"Hüber," after the 30s-era Hooverville popup-housing boom-- is offering cocoon-like pods to allow 14 residents to share a single house as an escape from soaring rents and real estate prices."
"mostly due to structural failure, because the fire was too intense" spoken like a guy who knows how much money he has coming and a very normal not-at-all-intimidating dude hovering right behind 😂
One day I was asked to work with a JSOC-psycho and to make conversation I asked him which assignment he liked the most, thinking of some Bourdain-ian anecdotes about food, sunsets, beaches, whatever. His answer was unequivocal. "Afghanistan."

I know this deeply. My wife had many positive experiences, but also enough traumatic ones that, combined with the wicked, incessant grind, pushed her into minimum-wage work because at least it wasn't actively destroying her.

By far the best and truly enjoyable teaching gig she had? High school with 80% hispanic farmworker kids, 10% white mormons, 10% local native Americans. She liked it, and would have stayed but for my career move.
I love this account so much. Aside from the obvious solidarity I feel with these workers, their video posts are especially confident, proud, positive and impressive.
Oswaldo sent us this pic from where he's harvesting broccoli rabe in Salinas CA under a

Second paragraph is highlighted but let's not miss the repulsive and flagrantly unconstitutional statement "spoke out and paid the consequences" of the first.
The NY Times realizes that critics of globalization have been right for 30 years; presents this finding as a shocking new development no one could have predicted. This is going to jokerfy me
I'm sure there are tricks of the trade that make wildlife photography easier but still can't fathom how a (probable?) amateur gets these. Amazing. I'm lucky to see a beaver at dusk from 40' away atop a bridge.
Pretty clear distillation of the crossroads of where humanity is at/headed. Liberalism, if a kind of gloss over the real choices to be and being made, is crumbling before our eyes.

Still thinking about this. The other thing that might send me over is the extremely fun fact that CDC changed the allowable toxic levels for dioxin-causing vinyl chloride by two orders of magnitude in.....January 2023 😁
The BanderasSmiling.gif nugget about Aleister Crowley's literal nephew serving as Chris Nolan's longtime colleague and production designer for the unbelievably spooky "Tenet" is just one of the absolutely insane anecdotes and synchronicities elucidated in this banger of an ep.
Were yall aware that the sleek, military-ish superyacht Nolan used in the C👁️A advertising, time-bending spy caper “Tenet” & which Aleister Crowley’s descendant Nathan outfitted w/ a rocket launcher is owned by Nathaniel Rothschild? Lol
I've been confused on this for a while: was ARPANET designed to facilitate nuclear weapon command and control or more effective counter-insurgency, or, both?
Watch the incredible moment that a rep from the Pentagon's psychological operations research firm pitched NATO's military psyops center on turning Taylor Swift into an asset for the Western military alliance to stop "disinformation" on the Internet.
My eyebrows raised. "Oh, really? Why?"
He looked wistful and nostalgic.
"Because from dusk till dawn, every single night, we'd load up in the helicopter and take out targets. It was awesome."
@muenzenberg_w
Blob showing its disapproval of the policy pretty clearly here, methinks.
Also: hilarious that a journalist would actually do this. I mean I know those guysbare basically stenographers but lol
Israel makes Palestinian prisoners serve their full sentence even if they’re dead.
There are 142 dead Palestinians (mostly children) kept in refrigerators as a form of collective punishment and psychological torture against their families.
lmao a whole country got psyop'd into voting for a Trump-like charlatan right before getting hoodwinked into dollarization by selling off state assets to JP Morgan, nice job everybody
lmao they put a Michael Scott-ass guy to take those kinds of questions, alright I'm 100% convinced this is all a planned demolition of fiat currency and the banking system.
The characteristic look on the face of the National Security Council spokesman at the Kirby White House, when a journalist asked him a question: “It seems that more and more countries are abandoning the use of the dollar. Do [you] fear this world?”
Kirby's response: "I don't…
At this point it feels like the zionists could operate literal gas chambers and crematoria with real-time video feeds and we'd get the same talking points from the Pentagon, State Dept., and BBC commentators.
Mark Crispin Miller concluded his classic pandemic-propaganda talk with speculations that the US would next try alien invasion stuff, which I considered a stretch, and yet here we are
Verified fact, documented and reported on the show 20/20: someone called the Executive Secretary's office at the Justice Dept to report the Murrah building had been bombed....24 minutes before the bombing.

It's a good reminder and easy to forget. The trappings of the WH make him a bit of a fish out of water, but here he can be completely dominant when facing anyone lesser than Bernard.

REPORTER: "Should members of congress and their spouses be banned from trading individual stocks while serving in congress?"
PELOSI: "No...We are a free market economy. They should be able to participate in that."
These freaks remind me of the most haunting passages of "In the Garden of Beasts" that talked about how easy it was for the Nazis to get many Germans to gleefully turn each other in to the death machine over petty grievances or mere self-promotion.
you can serve in the IDF, become a journalist, and use your creds to get Palestinian journalists murdered with impunity. Insanely evil work at play here.
If nothing else, historical events compel me to take mediocre slop like "The Lone Gunmen," "Tenet," "White Noise," "Leave the World Behind," and "Civil War" quite a bit more seriously than I might otherwise
