This guy has been around a while and is now 77 years old, he has one of the best grifts going. He gets to predict (and profit from) things that (assuming he lives long enough) will happen when he's 84 and 97 years old respectively. It's a great gig if you can get it.

“History teaches us that the most enduring people are a people whose sense of community results from shared principles which are so thoroughly ingrained in them as habit that they don’t even need to be stated, in other words, as a result of their shared beliefs” ~ Nietzsche

"Some were there to sell gold, but increasingly people are coming to buy" You may bet against 5,000+ years of human history, but you're very likely to get that bet wrong.
WSJ posting on #gold on LinkedIn Signs and signals abound as the dollar continues to lose its status as the global reserve currency The recently published Dollar Portapotty Theory explains all of what we are seeing.

Not true, just like the last time around we'll just suspend all reasonable drug testing measures while allowing drug companies windfall profits with no legal downside. Then we'll attempt to segregate & fire the portion of society that protests such measures. That should fix it.

4th highest story on Bloomberg this morning I guess people buying the ETF $PSLV helped to cause this, since so far this year it’s taken 20,000 London Good Delivery bars off the market 😳 #Silver #SilverSqueeze

It's like dealing with a bunch of special needs children whose vote counts the same as yours.

The German word for feeling embarrassment vicariously on behalf of someone else is Fremdscham and this is exactly what I feel everytime I see someone do a haka in public.
NEW: New Zealand parliament suspended after an unplanned haka broke out following newly elected PM Te Pati Maori's Oriini Kaipara's speech. Kaipara: ✋😵💫 Speaker of the House Gerry Brownlee: "No, not that. The guarantee was that would not be taking place... Unreal." Kaipara:

I don't think many Chinese understand that the one child policy doomed their society for a century or more regardless of what they do.

In 50 to 75 years that entire supply chain will belong to autonomous robots because there won't be any humans left to benefit from it.
I don't think many Americans understand this: Consumer goods and industrial products are a form of hard currency. Without which your fiat money is worthless, because its inherent value in buying things ceases to exist. China has the entire supply chain for every major sector

I paid for the house I currently live in with the proceeds from a single stock I bought at the absolute bottom of the 2008 bear market. Fortune favors the bold.

Investing in precious metals miners is often harrowing and not for the faint of heart, but when it works, it really really works.

I have upset the transit people in the quote tweets. My brothers in Christ even China which has the population density of an anthill runs its passenger rails at a massive economic loss. What exactly do you believe the financials would look like in the US with 75% less density.

When you run the numbers, you'll conclude that this is a somewhat crazy predication. But I can assure you it is not.

There are many valid reasons to oppose high speed passenger rail in the US but the best reason of all is because it 's incredibly irritating to the "transit" people. Much like with road cyclists, anything that bothers the transit people is by default good.
There are 80 flights daily between Chicago, Indianapolis, Louisville and Nashville. High-speed rail could easily connect these cities within 3 hours of each other. Chicago <-> Nashville: 40 Chicago <-> Indy: 20 Chicago <-> Louisville: 20

This ratio still has a long way to fall and before this cycle is over I expect it will be back under .50 and quite possibly even back under .25 Run the math and understand the numbers.
