People's opinions can change, but the idea that talk of the Israel lobby is antisemitic is incredibly offensive to the people working every day in Washington and London lobbying on behalf of the Israeli state. Stop erasing their labor.

Weāve slipped back into what passes for normal in politics worldwide: people claiming authority over entire identity categories and treating politics as a clash of fixed, homogeneous groups.
It's actually a crazy thing for financiers and co. to say stuff like Zohran Mamdani is an enemy of the Jews. It doesn't even sound like a statement from an American. It sounds like some Middle Eastern tribalism. As if we're not individuals, just Borg-like warring groups.

Immigration isnāt some moral indulgence ā itās a material positive for the country. And there are easy policies to enact to make it even more positive. But the Right keeps clinging to a zero-sum politics that sees new Americans as takers instead of contributors.
They are different in the most crucial way: They aren't AMERICANS. Sorry but the era of multi-millionaires using accusations of racism to shame the American people for refusing to cosign their own disinheritance to benefit the global indigent is over.
