Farm workers are "supposed to" get 5 paid sick days a year. Non-union workers have been telling us that's not happening. Donate to help workers win union contracts where their legal rights are respected. https://t.co/LNum184rHv #WeFeedYou

Farm workers are check irrigation lines in lettuce fields in Arvin CA. They are carefully marking problem spots to make sure the crop gets enough water. It’s slow, patient work, especially under the midday sun. But it is absolutely essential for a healthy crop. #WeFeedYou

This is all bullshit. There's no imminent risk of rotting crops, according to experts & farmworker unions. It's a ploy to cut wages (even below state minimum wages) for foreign workers, which will eventually hit US workers too. So much for America First! https://t.co/iuzEA4adeB

Which is true? Either Trump’s Labor Department actually believes that immigration enforcement is threatening food security, or they are pretending the threat is real in order to crush wages for farm workers. https://t.co/z56HlNTd7C

If you're driving through Kern County CA at this time of year it's common to see workers harvesting grapes on the side of the road. It was around 90° in Mettler CA around 1pm on the day this photo was taken. Workers were going full speed despite the heat. #WeFeedYou

"Meche" works making raisins in Fresno CA. Fresh grapes are placed on sheets of paper and then laid on the sand between rows. The suns heats the sand and dries out the grapes. She can feel the heat from the sand through her shoes while she earns 35 cents for each sheet. #WeFeedYo

Farm workers are setting up the loader at a cattle ranch. "Erik" shares: running heavy machinery isn’t just about driving. It takes a team effort. We often move hundreds of pounds of feed, clear manure, and more under tough conditions. #WeFeedYou

Martin shared this pic of his coworker in Grandview WA working in the hops. Hop vines are hung upside down to remove the cones before the clean hops are moved to a hop kiln to be dried until they reach an optimal moisture content needed for making beer. #WeFeedYou

"Juan" works long hours harvesting strawberries in Vista, CA. He shares with us: It's a very difficult job. I must bend down all day long to pick the ripe fruit. But my hard work ensures there is always plenty of strawberries in stores for you to eat. #WeFeedYou

Workers in the Gilroy area are weeding the parsley. Their backs hurt by the end of the day as they need to bend over/crouch to cut the weeds with a small curved harvest sickle, as using a hoe can damage the product. #WeFeedYou

The Trump wage cut is a catastrophe for American workers. With the H2A visa having no cap, the Trump wage cuts opens the gates to potentially unlimited American job losses in agriculture.
