Thank you Emily W. (age 36) for sending us your submission to our children’s art contest. It wasn’t eligible for the contest (the techniques are too advanced) but it’s hanging in our prestigious art museum (my cubicle wall). Vote on children’s artwork:

@nonbinarycowboy My 101 year old grandma definitely knows about electric cars. She’s also still a bit bitter that she had to stop driving at 94. However, my other grandma, who’s only 91, does not know how to put gas in her car. She’s been driving for like 70 years, and never learned. 🤷‍♀️

@babbymd The narcissism of “my girlfriend is sick, and it’s so unfair to me” is always astounding, but also, let’s talk about the lack of treatment options for endometriosis. He’s talking about one week a month like it’s nothing, but that’s 1/4 of this girl’s life that she’s this sick.

@nancyoneil1020 @Parkerlawyer @lacadri34 It sounds harsh because it IS harsh. And unreasonable. If you expect a young student to subsidize your very expensive meal, don’t go. Splitting the check evenly is common if everyone ordered at about the same price point, but not when there’s a dramatic difference like that.

@Nicole_Lee_Sch What I’d like to say is “yes, go get a mask, and please make sure it’s an N95 or better.” But what I actually say is “it’s fine, don’t worry about it.” Because asking them to do this tiny thing for both of our safety is too hard. And that’s being reinforced by public health.

@ctrssierra Seeing a therapist might not be a bad idea to help you process the ongoing trauma of being dismissed and gaslit by medical professionals, but I don’t see what a psychiatrist is going to do for you. There aren’t any meds for that. And that’s not an alternative to cardiology.

@StayPassNFT @0xgaut So just like a hotel, but in a poorly-suited physical space with an environment-destroying digital trinket thrown in for no reason at all? Sounds like a great idea. Real winner, right there.

@soumya_goblue My only concern is that since people can’t bring their own liquids on the plane, this could actually be really dangerous for active alcoholics on long-haul flights. Alcohol withdrawal can be life-threatening, and could be an issue on very long flights, especially with delays, etc

@jlbthemd How??? I can’t even count how many times I’ve been made to take a pregnancy test for symptoms that were not at all suggestive of pregnancy, when I wasn’t even sexually active.

@homo_placidus @punished_cait If our species were in danger of extinction due to lack of reproduction, you’d have a point. Back here in reality, though, mandatory reproduction would only hasten our decline.

@Ronin_Protector @Mangalawyer Look in a mirror. You’re the one demanding control and conformity to your idea of whatever it is you’re even upset about here. It’s a video game. You’re entirely free to just not interact with it. No one is forcing anything on you.

@udekel @jeremyfaust @united It didn’t expire, it was overturned by a judge in Florida. It was entirely reasonable to expect the mask mandate would still be in place for his return flight because it had already been extended past that day.

@RatickM @DougDrachmanMD @NilayPatelMD @DrDarshanDoshi @MGHHeartHealth @MGHCVFellows One mistake? The letter says you received several stern and official warnings and still continued microwaving fish. That said, I feel like they could just ban you from using the break room microwave, or even the entire break room, and still let you stay on the fellowship 😂
