Gillibrand called on GOP Rep Steve King to resign because of his racist comments against Black & brown people. By lying & accusing a brown Muslim immigrant of "global jihad" & being a terrorist, Gillibrand exhibits similar grotesque racism. By her own standards she should resign.
Senator Gillibrand misspoke in that instance. As she noted subsequently, her concern was the refusal to denounce globalize the intifada rhetoric. She also highlighted that Mr. Mamdani assured her that, if elected, he would protect Jews and all residents of NYC.
