@PolitlcsUK
I sort of think JSO need to change tactics. The public are mostly on their side anyway this action is not affecting the government directly at all (which is what is needed)
@simonharris_mbd
I would say there is no direct apology to Lineker in that statement (perhaps too much to ask). Good old "independent review" suspect that will conclude further restrict of free speech on social media is required
@implausibleblog
I wish they would stop this suggestion that asylum seekers are in some way illegal they are not. It also doesn't matter in what manner they arrive small boats or no small boats
@MahyarTousi
Well the British fly the union flag abroad in Spain so what's the problem with the Albanian flag here. Should the Ukrainian here take theirs down too?
@PippaCrerar
He was careless and didn't cover his tracks properly. A big point is he directly denied any accusations on national telly and more than once
@LBC
@emilysheffield
So Rwanda is a nice safe place but a deterrent at the same time. Illogical. The Democratic Rep of Congo has just asked UN and France to sanction Rwanda
@dave43law
If it's because she was on the register at two different properties that's not an offence. Students at Uni are often registered at their family home as well as Uni
@RhonddaBryant
What's happen to Warburton. what's happening about Mark Spencer and the "Muslimness" case. What's happening about the use of "coke" in parliament. etc
@Haggis_UK
This pisses me right off. You cannot be an illegal asylum seeker/refugee/migrant until it is proven to be so and you can only test that by getting here. Refugee rules state the manner in which you arrive is irrelevant and you don't have to claim in the first safe country
@i_iratus
The whole thing isn't about asylum, refugees or stopping the boats. It's about the removal of human rights, OURS that is, and putting the government above the law
