I stand corrected. The Downing Street spokesperson was asked whether @RachelReevesMP would be in post until the next election & replied "yes".

It was painful to watch @RachelReevesMP looking increasingly distraught & in tears during PMQs. Her team insist that it was because of personal not political worries. Some will be sceptical BUT I recall watching & reporting on Tony Blair being comforted by colleagues who patted.
