No woman should ever face harassment or intimidation for going to a healthcare appointment. Nearly ten years ago in Opposition, I called on the Government to introduce buffer zones round abortion clinics. Now in Government we are acting. On 31 October, it will become the law.

After numerous false dawns, safe access zones finally becoming reality within next month. Ealing introduced first ever one and has led the way. Women up and down the country will now have same protections
