Interesting take.
Will Rachel Reeves’ tears today be the end of or making of her? Fwiw, I actually think the latter. Suspect most of us can’t but feel sorry for her, and she desperately needs an emotional connection with voters. But she must now lean into it and explain very publicly what happened.

What she said.
This is a brilliant profile of Keir Starmer by @TomMcTague. Interesting, challenging, fair & shines a light on the human side of the Prime Minister particularly over the recent loss of his brother. A remarkably “normal” Prime Minister in extraordinary times. Well worth a read.
