Whoever responsible for the killings at Al-Ahli hospital, both sides have now committed war crimes. The Foreign Secretary stated that HMG will always remind Israel of their duties under international law. The only way out of this mess is for all sides to commit to a ceasefire.

I welcome the PM’s confirmation that he will urge Israel to take every practical precaution to avoid harming civilians and his recognition of the incredible complexity of this situation. An immediate ceasefire is needed to stop this humanitarian catastrophe.
