I had measles when I was a kid, chicken pox too, but both were before the vaccines. My mother was fierce about us getting vaccinated, though. She'd had polio as a child. She made sure we got the polio vaccine and others that were available.

Years ago, I had an old cat (raised her from a kitten) who was near the end of her days. There wasn't much that she would eat, but she loved scrambled eggs with cheddar cheese. I made enough for both of us every day for the last 6 months of her life. Muffy lived to be 19. ๐

I'm fully vaccinated, including flu, the most recent covid, and RSV, but I still worry about covid. I'm trying to get back in the habit of wearing a mask everywhere again. My doc recommends it, especially because I've got asthma and I'm older. I really shouldn't have stopped.

1/ My father raped one of my sisters and she got pregnant. She was living with him at the time after my parents' divorce. I literally begged the judge to not let her move in with him. Judge told me I shouldn't lie and approved the move.

Yeah. I live in IL, Chicago area, and if I saw this, I'd turn around and walk out. So far, the only people I've seen walking around with guns are cops. If I saw someone else, I'd assume a shooting was about to happen, and I'd leave.

My favorite part of Clark's lawyer's letter is him setting a time limit for the judge. I may have left the courtroom for a writing job years ago, but I do not remember ever giving a judge a deadline. In writing and filed, no less.

Maybe you should read the court's decision. The judge explains in quite a bit of detail what trump did wrong and why he has to cough up money. All you're doing is making declarations based on your beliefs that don't involve knowledge of the law or facts.

These are all nice places, clearly designed for the spaces. But you were yapping about your kid needing to run off energy, etc. Those spaces aren't designed for kids to run and jump around and scream so parents dont have to listen to them at home. They're also in affluent areas.

Wow. I was out running errands all evening to avoid the temptation of tuning in CNN. After I was done, I stopped at Panera for soup and sandwich and read a book. I'm so glad I did. I can't handle seeing trump and

Asparagus, now my favorite vege. When I was a kid, we had canned veges. I never had fresh ones until college. I was at Michigan State for 2 years, and my roommates came from farms near Lake Mich. They went home on weekends and cane back with fresh asparagus. OMG, what a dif!

They die young when they're outside cats. There are many ways you can bring the outdoors to them, including open (screened) windows, "catios", training them to walk (stroll) on leashes. Etc. Playing with them inside works too. Also, spend time with kids AND cats together.
