During my travels while serving in the U.S. Navy defending our country's freedom, and the freedom of our allies, I spent time in the places Trump "writes off" as "shitholes." I met and learned about the people, their lives, their cultures. We are all one race, the human race.
I just got bot checked by Twitter. I had to do a verification test to confirm I’m not a bot, before I was able to continue on Twitter. Anyone else get the same treatment?

Here’s my take on these self claiming MAGA “patriots.” They love to brag and make shit up about serving in the military, but no mention of the oath they would’ve taken to defend our Democracy. Proud traitors they are.
@Taarv08
I was medically retired just after 9/11 at the 20 year mark from the Navy. I never imagined then anyone who swore their oath and served in the military, would betray their country just cuz lying traitor Trump told them to.
@thejackhopkins
I didn’t have to dodge bullets and IED’s, but working up on the flight deck during flight ops requires full attention to danger. Complacency can kill you when you lose focus of your surroundings.
@BlackKnight10k
The democracy I swore an oath to defend 5 times during my time in Uncle Sam’s Navy, had a big win tonight in the ongoing fight against Republican Putin loving fascism.
@itsJeffTiedrich
I still have a hard time wrapping my head around the number of people who swore an oath to protect and defend the U.S. Constitution, that betrayed their country for dictator wannabe Trump.

@bullsmith_50
Just like I reported Elon Musk for tweeting misleading information when he claimed falsely about the January 6th insurrectionist’s were simply peaceful tourists, citing Tucker Carlson as his source. That was last week.
@thejackhopkins
I’m more than pleased with Jack Smith coming down hard on traitor Trump and his treasonous MAGA Putin Republican Party. Kudos to Merrick Garland for assigning the case to the exact right person to do the most important job of saving what’s left of our Democracy.
We need to stand up and say NO MORE! We will not sit back quietly!

I swore my oath to the U.S. Constitution coming up on 45 years ago next month. I’ll be damned if I let domestic terrorist MAGA traitors tear down our Democracy.
@MollyBeck
This brings back memories of when I requested an absentee ballot from my home state of AZ during my active duty days in the Navy. Reagan was still in office then. I never received a ballot, but I was sent a jury duty notice. I wasn't able to be there for that, as I was deployed.
Just to let everyone know, I will be making a road trip to Phoenix tomorrow with my wife to attend our youngest daughter's college graduation ceremony. She is receiving her BA in Secondary English Teaching. I will be mostly offline but will check in when possible.

I retired from the Navy in January 2002, after proudly serving 20 years. I still have memories of when America remembered 9/11 and January 6th, both were carried out by enemies of what our country stands for.
@DHSgov
puts domestic terrorist groups at the top of the threat list.
@TeddiThompsonS1
That’s my biggest complaint about religion, is how people use it to judge people they don’t like, that aren’t like them. They’re always looking at everyone else, instead of themselves.
P.S. I followed you.
@SanchzCatalina
Wow! I served my country in the Navy for 20 years defending the Constitution, only to see conservatives try to destroy our democracy 20 years later. I followed you and would date you too.
