During my six years in Congress, I’m proud that ten of my proposals to boost accountability in the Pentagon, lower drug costs, protect our planet, improve mental health care, and more became law. My office also returned $25 million to O.C. families and closed 8,000+ cases. (3/6).

ICYMI: A couple months ago, a Republican colleague accused me of ‘hating Christmas’ because I opposed her redundant amendment about these permits. Congress should leave programs like this to the experts, not use them for cheap political hits.

Did you know that you can get a permit to cut down a Christmas tree on federal land? Bonus: it’s super affordable! . The Forest Service has run this program for decades, and it’s a great family activity.

Giant grocery stores getting even bigger means higher prices and fewer choices for Americans. Families are already struggling to make ends meet and this merger would do us no favors. I’m glad the judge heeded our call to halt this anticompetitive deal.

The @CFPB has returned billions to consumers who were cheated by large corporations. This critical consumer protection agency makes sure businesses who follow the law can get ahead, and those who rip off consumers must halt their corporate abuse.

I had a blast touring the future site of the Flying Leatherneck Aviation Museum in Irvine. After the museum closed its previous location, I pushed Marine Corps leadership to preserve artifacts until they could be moved. Glad to hear that the project is on track to open in 2026!
