I like original cantina aliens too but you're painting with a BROAD brush there buddy. What qualifies an "evolved organism"? and how is a wolf mask or Duros more of an "evolved organism" than these? Yes, OT designs are better, but this feels like partially Nostalgia Goggles
For the cantina scene in The Force Awakens, they were so focused on making everything retro and practical that they forgot the element of "immaculate reality" that's so central to Star Wars. This alien is grotesque, but it doesn't seem like a real, live, evolved organism.
