I don't get the hate in comments. Unspoken is the disallowed options: doing nothing, procrastinating, delegating, etc. This is good management.

Millions of men growing old alone and dying with not a person to give a shit (bc of imbalanced ratio). Millions of families never started because of the burden of caring for elderly parents. No one with a heart could root for this
@upstatefederlst
She’s upset bc she’s just pretty enough to get wolf whistled but not pretty enough to get actual pretty girl special treatment. Sucks to be mid

I love how Haitians were whining about American colonialism when it was suggested that we send in the Marines, as if Haiti has a goddamn thing worth taking. Now look

Used to work w a Polish guy, carpenter. Didn’t sleep, drove a Silverado on 20” chrome rims, played only 50 Cent, ranted like a madman. Used all tools one handed.

What the fuck - they’ll buy Russian oil but piss on innocent people who are victims of the regime themselves. Germany should be broken up
@0xAlaric
No, it’s bc only theater kids are willing to receive the humiliation of social media era public attention and thinks it’s a good thing. See 90s golden boy Rob Lowe questioning why anyone would want to be famous these days

Why can’t they get it? Why do they have no fuel? Why’d they commit an act of war knowing their people wouldn’t have access to critical infrastructure?
@nonregemesse
Similarly, Americans were all in relatively good health (egalitarian) during the Revolution, and at least 3 inches taller on average than Brits

A great architect I know, insists on this. He designs only by hand and has an office whose sole function it is to painstakingly draft his designs into CAD. Says no one is taught to design anymore and has hired accordingly
@phl43
It’s people like you who give me space to be kind and pretend to be oblivious so I don’t have to turn girls down explicitly and hurt feelings. Thank you brother 🙏

The expeditions around the Cape and to the Spice Islands were rich man’s expeditions funded by the Portuguese crown, and result in a 100 year monopoly that brought incredible wealth to Iberia, and later the Low Counties while establishing the first true supply chain system.

Margins on comfort have proven limited that’s all - first class still nice. International airlines are state adjacent enterprises so have different pressures hence often better experience- i.e. extension of tourism industry

At their inception, no one knew what lay behind the Western Sahara. But they did it anyway. Medicine, engineering, and organization flourished throughout Europe from their discoveries.
