You can be a community pillar and have a checkered past. Trump’s own cabinet includes a long-time heroin addict!. All @DHSgov does here is just attack the people. For one guy, the ONLY thing they even have is that he was a visa overstay! Like, yeah, he’s undocumented. We know.
.@CNN is a disgraceful propaganda arm for radical, sanctuary city politicians. These headlines directly contribute to the 1000% increase in assaults against our brave @ICEgov law enforcement. 🧵Here are the facts on these illegal aliens:

Yes, he is, but that doesn’t mean you automatically win every contract, especially one which is so massive.
@ReichlinMelnick is he a veteran? veterans can get special consideration in government contracts, not 100% sure how it works but veterans and our spouses can get preferential contract status if I'm not mistaken.

There is something very shady going on here. A company that is allegedly run out of a guy’s house got a $1.2 BILLION contract to construct and operate the largest immigration detention center in American history. The guy and his company have ZERO relevant experience.

I have absolutely no idea. Why would I? His name hasn’t even been shared. What we do know is that a police department certified that he provided them substantial assistance in their investigation, and that it was a serious crime (the only ones that qualify for a U visa).
@ReichlinMelnick What serious crime was he a victim of and when and where did it take place?.

One of the contract firefighters arrested by Border Patrol had been in the US for 19 years — since he was four years old. He was too young for DACA, but he had a pending visa for victims of a crime, which he has been waiting on the government to process for SIX YEARS now.

There are multiple people currently serving in Congress who have prior DUI convictions. The Secretary of Health and Human Services was a heroin addict for 14 years. The President has multiple felony convictions. People are more than the worst day of their life.
This “Utah violinist” is Donggin Shin, a CRIMINAL illegal alien from South Korea. His criminal history includes a DUI conviction. Shin entered the U.S. on a tourist visa on September 3, 1998. This visa required him to depart the U.S. by March 3, 1999. Over 25 years later, he was

Again, this is simply not true. But you don’t have to trust me on this, here is none other than the Supreme Court itself making clear that “as a general rule, it is not a crime” to be in the country illegally.
@ReichlinMelnick 'No past criminal record' being here is a crime.

No president in history has ever tried to impose tariffs the way Trump has — likely because the law he is invoking does not even mention tariffs. So a court order saying “that law doesn’t authorize you to do this” would obviously not “destroy” the United States. I mean, come on.
Trump's having a meltdown over on Trash Social. "If allowed to stand, this Decision would literally destroy the United States of America." (How many times have you heard him say this?)
