Yes, because the lollipop lady used to help you cross at a zebra crossing on busy streets near school which had lollipop lights on each pavement and she had a round lollipop like staff that she held out into the road to stop the cars.

How do you find fraudulent voters if they don’t have to provide id? The home owner can just fill in 5 voter forms inc for people who moved out. They’ll just carry on doing it by mail.

I agree it doesn’t work as an only job, but some jobs are on client demand and cause peaks and troughs. Some just need holiday cover and then get students interested.
