This morning, @AussenMinDE and I co-chaired a meeting of European Foreign Ministers with @andrii_sybiha. We welcomed progress in US/Ukraine discussions in Geneva and affirmed our determined support for just & lasting peace that upholds Ukraine's sovereignty & Europe's security.

Last week, Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper visited Jordan. The UK and Jordan are working together to unblock aid for Gaza and build a secure, lasting peace in the region.

Today the UK called a special session of the UN Human Rights Council on Sudan, and our resolution was unanimously agreed, demandng an immediate ceasefire, urgent humanitarian relief, and accountability for the atrocities committed in El Fasher and beyond. We will not look away.

UK support for Ukraine is ironclad, as we stand shoulder to shoulder in our 100 Year Partnership. As FM @andrii_sybiha and I remembered those who have sacrificed their lives for freedom, we also looked forward to a secure and prosperous future for both our nations.

Last week in Jordan, I spoke with aid agencies about the urgency of flooding Gaza with aid. The partial opening of the Zikim crossing could help, but we are not yet seeing a sufficient increase in aid. We need all crossings open immediately the situation remains desperate.

In Canada for the G7 Foreign Ministers meeting working with our closest partners to tackle some of the world’s greatest challenges, including Ukraine, Sudan, getting aid into Gaza, and economic security. The UK’s foreign policy is delivering for security at home.

Putin is trying to plunge Ukraine into darkness & cold. But Ukraine will not face winter alone. We are providing further support for urgent repairs to keep the lights on & help support those worst-hit by the loss of power, water & heating. Ukraine's security is our security.

On Remembrance Day in Canada, I joined Foreign Minister @AnitaAnandMP & South African Foreign Minister @RonaldLamola in Oakville to honour those who gave their lives for freedom - including those from across the Commonwealth who lost their lives in two world wars.

In Jordan last week I saw warehouses full of aid still waiting to get into Gaza even though families are still going hungry. All aid routes must be opened and aid restrictions lifted now.

There are tonnes of UK aid for Gaza waiting in Jordan. The aid route from Jordan must be re-opened and restrictions must be lifted. The people of Gaza cannot wait.

The UK is stepping up support for Sudan. With an extra £5m in humanitarian aid for El Fasher—this includes vital support for survivors of sexual violence. This is on top of £120m already committed. The world must not look away. We must act to end the suffering.

25 years since #UNSCR1325, the Women, Peace and Security agenda remains central to UK foreign policy. Peace and security are not possible without women. It’s on all of us to help make this a reality.
